Augusta Quick Mart Robbed Sunday Night

The Augusta Police are looking for an armed man who they claim robbed a convenience store Sunday night.

The robbery occurred around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night. Augusta Police say the suspect is a white male between the age of 20 and 30 years old. They say he walked into the Augusta Quick Mart at 25 Western Avenue and demanded cash. Police say he took an undisclosed amount of money and ran off.

Police said it was believed that the suspect had a handgun. He is described to be slim-to-medium build and was wearing a red and black jacket, a gray bomber-style hat with fur and aviator sunglasses.
