Glenn Stewart, a Massachusetts native, won our round of the B98.5 Colgate Country Showdown several years ago. Glenn has moved onto getting a record deal with New Nashville North Entertainment and he has released a new album called 'Breaking Boundaries'.

The title has a lot of meaning behind it. Glenn is openly gay and starting a career in country music. Others in country music have 'come out' after there career was over like, Chely Wright, Ty Herndon, and recently Billy Gilman.

Glenn has been playing music around New England since the late 1980's and was in a local rock band called Roxxi, Glenn then spent some years in cover bands, where he started to sing lead vocals.

Glenn then hit the studio in 2006 and recorded his own cd. That has led to his record deal and his first national album release 'Breaking Boundaries'.

Glenn will join Randy McCoy & Sarah Dyer Friday morning on the 'Morning Buzz' to talk about the album and his road to Nashville since winning our Colgate Country Showdown.

Check out the video to 'Little Miss John Wayne' from the album, it features Josyln Fox (a female impersonator who was on season 6 of  Rupaul's 'Drag Race'.
