B98.5’s New Artist Spotlight: Ryan Hurd

Born and raised in Kalamzoo Michigan, Ryan Hurd has been making a name for himself as a songwriter in Nashville for years. With over 30 credits with artists like, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Tim Mcgraw, and a number one for Blake Shelton, Ryan Hurd has become one of the most sought after songwriters in Nashville.

On top of being a well known songwriter he has been making a name for himself as a performer, with his own songs, Hold You Back, and Love in a Bar (Which you can listen to below) being streamed over 20 million times on Spotify. He has opened for Dustin Lynch, Chase Rice, and Maren Morris, and is currently working on his debut album.
