Maine based Bangor Savings Bank raised their minimum wage to $15.

Bangor Savings President and CEO said the raise in the minimum wage will help employees make their lives and the lives of their families better but more than that it's an investment in the future of the community.

The minimum wage increase went into effect on February 25. The raise affects about 400 employees in Maine and New Hampshire.

On wmtw.com they tell us the federal minimum wage and New Hampshire's is $7.25 and hour, here in Maine the minimum wage is $10 an hour.
