Bernie Sanders, the person with the highest approval rating of any US Senator (or anyone in national politics, actually), is coming back to Maine.

Sanders and new Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez announced a nation-wide rally tour last month, and Maine will be the first stop. According to a recent email blast to supporters, Bernie will be hitting the road again to tour nine states across the country where support for Bernie was high, but Democrats didn't win, or nearly lost, in November against Donald Trump.

Bernie won the Maine caucuses in 2016 by a huge margin, defeating Hillary Clinton, 64%-35%.

The tour will start at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine on Monday, April 17, and visit states like Florida, Nevada and Iowa. Democratic leaders and Bernie Sanders supporters are expecting a huge turnout.
