Boat Explosion On The Kennebec River In Gardiner

Reports of one or two people being injured after a boat explosion and fire on the Kennebec River in Gardiner this morning.The incident happened near the Gardiner boat landing.

Sgt. Rene Cloutier of the Maine Marine Patrol said at least one and possibly two people were taken by ambulance to Maine General Medical Center in Augusta.

The boat owners are from Oakland.
