Boston Man Sells Snow From Backyard
Got a backyard full of snow? How do you get rid of it? You sell it. Kyle Waring of Boston is doing just that and making money. He is the owner of ShipSnowYo.com and is selling snow to people in warmer climates.
He says he will not ship snow to the Northeast because there is too much snow there already but, if you live in a warmer climate, he will ship it. He started by selling 16 ounce bottles of snow for $19.99, but most of the snow melted by the time it arrived. Now he is selling 6 pounds of snow for $89 or 10 pounds for $119, and he is selling out.
He does warn his customers they need to receive his product within 20 hours and that way they will still have enough snow to make 15 to 20 snowballs.
