Central Church Planning “Drive-In” Service For This Saturday
Under Phase 1 of Governor Mills' re-open Maine guidelines, some businesses and organizations (like houses of worship) are able to have outdoor, open air, activities. Drive-in theaters, for example. Some enterprising churches are now planning drive-in services.
One of those churches, Augusta's and China's Central Church is planning to hold a series of drive-in services on Saturday, May 9th. There'll be at identical services at 4 PM and 6 PM. The services will be held in the parking lot at the Augusta Civic Center.
According to the Facebook event page, they are asking attendees to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Everyone must stay in their cars. Please only bring your household in your vehicle.
- Windows can be rolled down half way.
- We will direct you in where to park
- Be patient and kind with all
- There will not be restrooms available
- Come ready to worship!
