It looks like we are going to be blessed with amazing weather for Labor Day weekend.  For much of Maine, we are going to have sunny skies and highs in the lower to mid-80s.  After all the rain we had throughout the spring and first part of the summer, we really deserve this!

Why not take full advantage of the great weather by attending one of the biggest outdoor parties of the year - the Skowhegan Craft Brew Festival

Can you think of a better way to spend the afternoon with your bros, besties, or that special someone in your life?  Yeah, we did not think so.

This year's event will run from 2 PM to 7 PM on Saturday, September 2nd.

Sample beers from Atlantic Brewing, Bateau, Bigelow Brewing, Baxter Brewing, Black Pug, Blaze Brewing, and more.

There'll be plenty to eat, too.  You'll be able to get food from the Maine Grain Alliance, Silverton BBQ, Tara-bly Good, Freedom's Forage, Kabayan Philippine Foods, Heroes On Wheels, and more.

And, nonstop live music, too.  Adam Babcock, Thomas Leclerc, River Bottom Funk, and Middle Ground will all be performing.

VIP tickets allow you access at 1:30 PM and tastings from 2 PM to 7 PM.  You'll also get a $5 food voucher a tasting glass, a shirt, and a SWAG bag.  VIP tickets are $75

General admission tickets allow you to taste from 3 PM to 7 PM.  You also get  a souvenir tasting glass.  Tickets are $50 in advance and $55 day of the event.

They also have designated driver tickets available.  Those, of course, are dirt cheap.  Remember, safety first.
