Country's Next Big Thing: Randall King

A native of Texas, Randall King grew up in a household that appreciated the legends of country music.

He said you could always hear George Strait, Keith Whitley, and Merle Haggard in his home.

Originally King had plans to get a degree in business and go that route with his life, but a chance meeting with fellow Texan Josh Abbott of the Josh Abbott band, convinced him to change his career path.

After touring for a bit in Texas, he gained enough recognition that gained notice from Nashville.

He independently released his self titled album in 2018 gaining rave reviews with many critics commending his neo-traditional sound, gaining favorable comparisons to George Strait.

Randall King is currently touring around the country.
