It's always a good day for lobster, it's even better when great live country music is with your Maine lobster. The 67th Annual Maine Lobster Festival begins on Wednesday and country music will be well represented.

Country hit makers Daryle Singletary and Confederate Railroad will be performing on Friday, August 1st during the 67th Annual Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland.

Daryle had a sting of hits in the 1990's including 'Too Much Fun', 'I Let Her Lie' and 'Amen Kind Of Love'. Confederate Railroad is a fun band that had huge hits in the 1990's with 'Trashy Women', 'Queen Of Memphis' and 'Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind'.

The first lobsters will be served this Wednesday starting at noon.

Besides the lobster and country music, there will be plenty more to check out.

Here's the schedule for this year's Maine Lobster Festival.
