The annual event, held each summer in Rockland, will return in 2021

The Maine Lobster Festival is under new leadership and has apologized to former Sea Goddess, Taylor Hamlin, who was pressured to step down over social media posts.

The 68th Annual Maine Lobster Festival is underway today through Sunday in Rockland. The festival opens at 11a.m. today and then at 9 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. Lobsters will be served under the food tent each day from 11a.m. until 9 p.m.

The Maine Lobster Festival Parade in Rockland was delayed about 20 minutes, (August 2) Saturday,  after a Kora Temple Shrine go-cart drove onto the sidewalk on Main Street and injured three.

It's always a good day for lobster, it's even better when great live country music is with your Maine lobster. The 67th Annual Maine Lobster Festival begins on Wednesday and country music will be well represented.
