Family Fun This Weekend At The 2022 Belfast Ice Festival
If you are thinking about what to do this coming weekend, consider checking out the 2022 Belfast Ice Festival. It will be running all weekend (February 25 – 27, 2022 ) in downtown Belfast.
With this cold snap of weather things should be perfect for the festivities. Plus, they are kicking off a new event that will be sure to be a blast for years to come. The introduction of the 1st State of Maine Ice Carving Championship.
The ice sculptures will be located throughout downtown Belfast. Perfect to take a walk around and see the amazing craftsmanship that goes into transforming these huge blocks of ice into works of art. You can also have a drink at one of the ice bars or if you want to get involved, you can participate in one of the many outdoor activities.

Saturday-(2/26)
All Day: Ice Sculptures on display throughout the downtown area.
All Day: Special menu items and ice bars all over town.
10am: Live Carving Demonstration – Salmon – Main and High Street and Bell The Cat
11am – 3pm: State of Maine Ice Carving Championships. Corner of Main & Cross Street
Noon – 3pm: Horse and Carriage Rides – Belfast Chamber Office
3pm: Live Carving Demonstration – Owl – Mall on High Street
3pm: Free showing of Ice Age the movie. The Colonial Theatre
Sunday-(2/27)
All Day: Ice Sculptures on display throughout the downtown area.
All Day: Special menu items and ice bars all over town.
10am – 2pm: Colorful hot pad making and weaving cheerful wristbands, Belfast Fiberarts, 171 High Street
10am – 3pm: Children’s activities in the Park on Main, 33 Main Street
