Fire at Falls General Store in Farmington Causes Heavy Damage

Six fire departments worked to put out the fire at Falls General Store in Farmington on Tuesday night.

The fire was reported about 11 p.m. by a neighbor and by the time firefighters arrived they could see flames coming from the building.

Falls General Store was heavily damaged and the State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire. There is an apartment above the store but according to wmge.com the occupants weren’t home at the time of the fire. The store is currently closed due to the damage.
