There is a flood warning for the Kennebec River at Skowhegan, at North Sidney and at Augusta until 3 a.m. on Thursday. The river is expected to crest at or just above flood stage this morning and start to fall below flood stage this evening.

This morning at 7, the pictures and video in this story were shot along the Kennebec River in Augusta. In Augusta, flood stage is 12 feet and the river is expected to crest at 12.7 feet this morning.

Front Street in Augusta is closed due to the flooding. At 7 a.m. there was some minor flooding along Waterfront Park in Augusta.
