In Seattle, Washington, the goat renting business is gong strong. The goats are rented by Rent A Ruminant that delivers the goats to areas that have heavy vegetation that need controlled. Currently 120 goats are working on an area known as Alaskan Way Viaduck. There are steep hillsides in towns in the Seattle area and goats can walk them and eat the overgrown vegetation. By using goats the Seattle Department of Transportation doesn't have to use herbicides and found they are an effective way of controlling the overgrowth.  The goats are sent in, eat as much as they can, then picked up, usually in two weeks.
