Governor LePage Hosts Food Drive

Governor Paul LePage and First Lady, Ann LePage will be holding their third annual Blaine House food Drive. It will take place on three consecutive Saturday's, from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. October 12, 19 and 26. The LePage family have hosted the event every year since the governor was elected.Governor LePage also will give a personal tour of the Blaine House to people donating food for their third annual Blaine House Food Drive.

The governor has also issued a 'Food Drive Challenge' to Maine Chambers of Commerce. In a letter issued to the chambers, the governor encouraged participation in a local food drive throughout the month of October.

Our annual 'Tanks'giving food drive will be starting soon after the Blaine House Food Drive. The Maine Army National Guard and B-98.5 will be at area supermarkets starting on November 4th. Randy McCoy will be based at Camp Keyes, as we collect non-perishable food all that week for the Salvation Army of Augusta and Waterville and several area food banks!
