According to WCSH 6, Governor Mills has implemented a "stay at home" order.

This order will go into effect on Thursday (April 2nd) morning and will remain in effect until April 30th.

According to Gov. Mills Title 37B allows the government to enforce these mandates.  Violations are counted as "Class E" crimes punishable by up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Additionally, she is ordering schools remain closed until May 1st.

She is also ordering people coming from out of state to self-quarantine for 14 days.
