Is Eight Years Old Too Young To Go Hunting?
State Representative Gary Hilliard of Belgrade has submitted a bill to the state legislature which calls to change the required age to obtain a junior hunting license from 10 to 8 years old.
Current Maine law states that hunters between the ages of 10 and 15 must possess a junior license and have a licensed adult with them while hunting in Maine.
