There's just something about Target—the convenience, the vibe, the fact that you can grab groceries, clothes, and a new TV all in one trip. And we can't be the only ones who notice the lighting, right? It's always perfect, and we don’t know why, but it just is.

So, how exactly do we determine the number of Target locations in Maine? Did we personally travel around the state, searching for Targets and keeping count?

No, we didn’t drive all over Maine hunting for Targets and taking notes every time we saw one—we just went to the Target Store Directory online, clicked on Maine, and boom, there’s the full list. Heck, if you’re curious, you can do the same for any state, like Nebraska or Wyoming!

As of March 11th, 2025, Maine has six Target store locations, according to the Target Store Directory. You can find them in Auburn, Augusta, Bangor, Biddeford, South Portland, and Topsham!
