Maine is pet heaven and for so many of us pet Moms and Dads, when hard times come for our pets, they affect our whole lives.

And this is where No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry steps in.

It's a beautiful nonprofit that gives pet food and supplies to families in need to people all over Maine.

This helps make sure that are pets are being taken car of and our companion can stay in the homes with the people they love the most.

At the heart of this organization is Spokes Dog, Raine, a gentle soulful little guy who has become the symbol of compassion for this organization.

Raine isn’t just the face of the pantry. She’s been a steady source of comfort for folks at events and during visits that have made such an impact on autistic children.

Maine’s Beloved SpokesDog Faces Cancer

Her ability to connect has meant more than words can express and now, Raine needs that same support and relief.

The founder Nadine Molloy has launched a GoFundMe titled “Help Raine Fight Metastatic Hemangiosarcoma” after receiving the heartbreaking diagnosis.

According to Mallory, Raine has battled Cutaneous Hemangiosarcoma for years, undergoing multiple surgeries. Sadly now, the cancer progressed to a metastatic form, with a limited prognosis.

Because the initial diagnosis was before the adoption, insurance has not been an option for them. Nadine has chosen palliative care to keep Raine comfortable.

Funds raised will go toward medical care, special equipment, and helping ensure her final days are filled with dignity and joy.

Those who cannot donate are encouraged to share Raine’s story.

After years of helping keep bowls full for others, this is a moment for the community to give back.
