Bangor, Maine Just Got a Massive New Marden’s
If you love the thrill of the hunt for incredible finds, Marden's is your spot. And they are having a big day in Bangor, as this newest location of the iconic store is now open, according to Bangor Daily News.
Marden's Surplus and Salvage has now officially opened their doors on 229 Springer Drive.
This is so exciting, why? Because Marden's is one of our favorite places. I am talking thousands of Mainer's discovering their favorite finds at this store. My cousin, Chelsea comes to visit each year from Pennsylvania and before she visits the family, she hits a local Maine Marden's!
The new store is sitting pretty at the former Burlington Coat Factory building and is about 85,000 square feet, according to BDN. This spot is much larger and designed to make your browsing easier and seamless.
The new spot also marks a move for the company as they were previously located across the river in brewer and recently closed their doors after a final liquidation sale.

As per the report, the team is relocating to this new Bangor location along with some newly hired local employees.
For fans, this opening is like a homecoming because it’s been since the 1980s that Bangor has had a store and many shoppers are excited to see the discount retailer back in the area!

The store will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
So if you are like many of us and love digging for deals and browsing the racks, finding items you didn’t know you needed, this week will be the perfect time to stop by!
