If you're trying to squeeze in one last camping trip before summer comes to an end, this might just be the sign you've been waiting for.

A new nationwide study from TRIO, a connectivity gear company for outdoor travelers, ranked Schoodic Woods Campground in Winter Harbor as the best campground in America.

Yep... the best in the entire country.

The study looked at thousands of campgrounds across the U.S., analyzing reviews for everything from cleanliness and facilities to scenery, peace and quiet, activities, and even bugs and pests.

Schoodic Woods earned an impressive 97.5 out of 100, receiving excellent marks in nearly every category.

Take a look below! This camper and his adorable dog, Alfie, stayed at Schoodic Woods Campground and absolutely loved the experience. He even shared highlights from their adventure on the campground's Facebook page.

And here's the best part: it wasn't the only Maine campground to make the list.

Blackwoods Campground in Otter Creek came in at #43, while Seawall Campground in Southwest Harbor landed at #49, proving what many of us already know, Maine camping is tough to beat.

If you've never been to Schoodic Woods, it's part of Acadia National Park but offers a quieter, less crowded experience than Mount Desert Island.

Think peaceful bike trails, stunning rocky coastline, incredible stargazing, and some of the most beautiful ocean views in the state.

Of course, Maine campers already have plenty of favorites.

Lily Bay State Park on Moosehead Lake is perfect for loon lovers, Sebago Lake State Park is a family favorite for swimming and boating, and Cobscook Bay State Park offers dramatic tides and incredible wildlife watching.
