Important things costing more just seems to be a way of American life these days.

Get ready to pay more for your Spectrum broadband internet service starting in August as the company has launched a nationwide price hike on many of their service plans.

According to Cord Cutters News, most Spectrum plans are raising in price by at least $10 with customers seeing the change to their bill immediately.

Spectrum Raised Broadband Internet Prices in June 2025

The price hike on broadband internet service this August will be the second major price hike in the last 14 months for Spectrum.

Last June, Spectrum raised prices on most of their standard broadband offerings leaving the majority of their customers in Maine with a $90 per month bill.

Those customers will not see a $100 per month bill for standard broadband service.

Spectrum has promised that with the increased charge comes increased speeds from 400 Mbps to 500 Mbps.

Spectrum Hoping to Lure Mobile Customers in Maine With Discounts

While the broadband internet service prices are continuing to go up in price through Spectrum, the company is hoping to entice mobile customers with substantial discounts.

As more people cut the cord with traditional cable television service, Spectrum has seen a major boost to their bottom through mobile offerings.

Spectrum is hoping to entice customers on legacy mobile services like Verizon and T-Mobile to switch to Spectrum and save a guaranteed $1,000 over the course of a year.

In some areas of Maine, Spectrum Mobile customers could use their strong mobile signal as a primary internet source.
