There’s a Place in New Hampshire Where You Can Visit America’s Stonehenge
So I just found out there’s a place in New Hampshire where you can basically go see… America’s Stonehenge.
Yeah. I was like, "what the...? That stopped me mid-scroll too.
It’s tucked away in Salem, and it’s this massive site filled with stone structures that are believed to be around 4,000 years old. Let that sink in for a second. That’s older than a lot of the stuff we learned about in history class.
And here’s the thing… nobody really knows exactly what it is.
Some people think it was used by ancient Native Americans. How crazy is that? Others believe it could’ve been built by early European settlers way before we thought they were here. There are even crazy theories about astronomical alignments, like certain stones line up with the sun during solstices and equinoxes. I'm always in disbelief that they found ways to lift these rocks.
Which is where it starts to get a little… weird.
You can walk through these man-made caves, tight stone chambers, and winding pathways that feel like something straight out of a movie. And depending on who you talk to, there’s also this whole “energy” vibe people say they feel when they’re there.

I don’t know if it’s actual energy… or just the fact you’re standing in a place that’s been around for thousands of years. Although… don’t we kind of do that every day? Like… Earth’s been here a minute.
Either way, it’s one of those spots that makes you go, “What is this place?”
And it's right here in New Hampshire.
