Large Central Maine Drug Bust Leads to Five Arrests, Percocet, Liquid Methadone & More Seized

Several people are in jail and a large quantity of drugs is off the street following a drug raid that happened in Central Maine on Monday of this week.

The Kennebec Journal is reporting that following a months-long investigation into drug trafficking from a Winter Street, Skowhegan residence, ten deputies from the Somerset County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the house on Monday.

The KJ reports that deputies entered the home on a warrant and found crack cocaine, fentanyl, suboxone strips, liquid methadone, Percocet pills and more than $3,000 in cash, suspected to be proceeds of drug sales.

Sheriff Dale Lancaster says that there were nine people in the house when officers executed the warrant on Monday. Two of the people that were living in the house were immediately taken into custody and charged with trafficking in illegal drugs. Those arrests include 37-year-old, Thomas Scott and 45-year-old, Kama Parrott.

Upon further investigation, deputies also took 56-year-old, Eric Bussell of Norridgewock and 38-year-old, Mike Medeiros of Skowhegan into custody. These men were also charged with trafficking in illegal drugs.

The fifth person arrested was 29-year-old, Tesla Gordon of Skowhegan. She was taken into custody by Somerset County Sheriff's deputies on an outstanding warrant.

The Kennebec Journal is reporting that there may be more charges pending as the investigation into the illegal trafficking is ongoing. Monday's raid is just the latest in several busts that have happened in Somerset County over the last few months.
