According to News Center Maine, the 13 year old girl who was pulled from the Androscoggin River by a sheriff's deputy on Monday evening has reportedly passed away from her injuries.

Isha Ali, of Lewiston, had been playing in the river with friends and/or family on Monday night when she went into the Cherry Pond part of the river.  She never resurfaced.

The first responders on the scene were Corporal David Chabot of the Maine Warden Service and Deputy Darian Nadeau of the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office.  They began a search and eventually located her.  After pulling her from the water, they began CPR.

Upon arrival, paramedics took over and transferred the Ali to Central Maine Medical Center.  She was later LifeFlighted to Maine Medical Center.

She passed away at approximately 6:50 PM last night.
