Maine Army National Guard SFC Save Boys Life with CPR
Sergeant First Class Joshua Way received the Maine Army National Guard’s ‘Meritorious Service Medal’. He received the award for saving a young boys life.
Sgt. Way was part of a group getting financial education training in Norway when a boy there stopped breathing. SFC Way performed CPR, saying he did what his training years ago taught him. His wife called 911 and an ambulance got there within 10 minutes.
SFC Way said the boy was a little scared but is doing fine.
