If you've ever had a child attend the YMCA summer camp in Winthrop, odds are you know the name Hayden Marshall-Inman. Inman has been a camp counselor at the camp since he was 18 years old, making the trip from his native New Zealand every summer including plans for 2020.

Tragically, he will not be attending this summer after being caught in the volcanic eruption on New Zealand's White Island. He was one of 6 confirmed fatalities during the eruption. It has been reported that he was leading a tour of the island.

According to News Center Maine, people are wondering why tourists were allowed to visit the volcanic island in the first place.
