Normally, we think of cornfield mazes as being attractions directed at families.

On a typical fall afternoon, you'll find hundreds of families wandering through our New England cornfield mazes.  There really is no better way to get fresh air and your exercise.  On a sunnier day, you could even get a tan.

One Maine farm is offering adults their own chance to explore their cornfield maze.

According to their Facebook page, as they have in previous years, Pumpkin Valley Farm will be holding their "Wine Your Way Through The Maze" event on Friday, September 10th.

The event gives people who are at least 21 years old a chance to wander the maze, seeking out the wine and chocolate stations.

The Rusty Bucket will be on-hand, too.  They'll be serving up beer, wine, wood oven fired pizza, and kettle corn.

Tickets are $25 per person and the rain date for the event is Saturday, September 11th.

If you're looking for something fun to do with the entire family, the maze will open for the fall on September 18th.  It will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October 30th.

In addition to the maze, they have a jumping pillow, ball launchers, a corn pit, and you can see farm animals.

Maine Bars & Restaurants W/ Patios & Decks

Who doesn't love enjoying a beer and a burger on a patio (or deck) on a warm summer night? Clearly, as we are still dealing with the pandemic, you may want to reach out to each of these establishments to make sure they have not made any temporary COVID-related changes to their business.

We rely on you to help us tell our listeners about everything going on in Central Maine and beyond.  If you see something we should be talking about, let us know by messaging us through our app or on Facebook.
