Maine Gas Prices Are Slightly Lower This Week

According to the price-monitoring website GasBuddy.com, gas prices in Maine were down almost one cent per gallon this week. The statewide average is now at $2.18 per gallon.

The national average was also down just under one penny per gallon for an average of $2.02.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported in Berwick at an even $2.00 per gallon.

Oklahoma and South Carolina both have the lowest average gas prices in the country at $1.79 per gallon.

Twenty-four state have an average of under $2 per gallon.

New Hampshire has the lowest average gas prices in New England at $2.06 per gallon.
