Maine Gas Prices Drop Slightly This Week
With a barrel of oil hovering around $110 and tensions being very high in the middle east, gas prices managed to drop by about one penny per gallon in Maine this past week. According to the price-monitoring website, MaineGasPrices.com, the average gallon of gas in Maine is at $3.72.Maine is still 13 cents higher than the national average of $3.58 a gallon.
The lowest gas prices in New England are in New Hampshire with an average gallon at $3.62.
The lowest gas prices in the country are once again in South Carolina with an average of $3.22.
The lowest gas prices in Maine were found in Biddeford at $3.55 a gallon.
What's the lowest gas price you've seen? I saw gas for for $3.62 a gallon last weekend in Lewiston.
