Maine Gas Prices Lower This Week

Good news for Maine motorists this week! According to GasBuddy.com, gas prices in Maine are now at a statewide average of $2.21 per gallon, that's down almost two cents a gallon from last week.

The lowest reported gas price came out of Newport at $1.94 per gallon, gas was also under $2 a gallon in Brewer,Bangor, Corinna, Pittsfield and Corinith.

Gas prices nationally dipped less than one cent per gallon. Six states have an average gas price under $2 per gallon, they are Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and New Jersey.

New Hampshire has the lowest average gas prices in New England at $2.11 per gallon.
