Maine Gas Prices Soaring

It sure seems that gas prices go up quicker than they come down, Maine gas prices rose 10 cents per gallon over just this past week. The statewide average now stands at $2.41 a gallon.

The lowest gas price reported in the state was at $2.18 a gallon at a gas station in Springvale, and a gas station in Turner had gas for $2.20 a gallon.

Gas prices nationally soared 13 cents per gallon higher for a nationwide average of $2.43 a gallon.

Idaho and Utah had the lowest average gas prices at $2.08 per gallon.
