Maine Man Made Up Story Of Needle Found In Sons Halloween Candy
Justin Sanford of Rockland has been charged with making a false report. He posted on social media that his son had bitten into halloween candy that contained a needle, a claim that later was discovered to be false.
Police made the discovery after Sanford contacted them to file a report. They charged him with making a false report and want to deter anyone from making similar false claims saying they are not only a burden to police officers, they also take time away from true crimes.
So in short, don't be dumb and make a false report because literally nothing good can come from it.
