Maine Mom’s Get in Free on Mother’s Day, But They Will Likely Hit Capacity So Plan Now!
It's always appreciated when Maine businesses go out of their way to do something nice for mom's on Mother's Day. And certainly there are dozens of businesses all around the Pine Tree State that are planning something special this coming weekend, but there's one in particular that we wanted to share with you.
It seems that whenever we talk about the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, we are talking about their incredible lights display that happens every Christmas season, Gardens Aglow. However, they have some big plans this coming weekend all to help celebrate the special mom in your life.
According to WGME 13, the State's most popular botanical garden has announced free entry for all mom's this coming Sunday (Mother's Day). They go on to explain that all other guests that aren't mom will still need an admission ticket. And, since they expect to be at capacity this coming Sunday, they are urging interested visitors to go online and pre-purchase their tickets before they sell out.
Admission into the gardens through October is $24 per person for adults, $20 for senior citizens, veterans and students. $10 bucks for children 3-17 and free for kiddos that are under 3 years of age. There is also a family rate that includes two adults and two kids for $56. The gardens are open daily from 9-5 daily and are ready for you rain or shine!
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a people’s garden, a grassroots effort that began as a casual conversation between friends and evolved into the largest botanical garden in New England. Located on more than 300 acres along the MidCoast, the Gardens is a true Maine experience.
