Mandatory Water Boil Order In East Vassalboro

According to a post on the Vassalboro Community Facebook page, several people have experienced issues with their water pressure.

One of those people reported she had received an email from her water company that explained the situation.

According to the listener, workers have been dealing with a major water main break on Rt 32, near China Lake, since Thursday.  Water should be back today (January 25th).

However, it may be "discolored" when it comes back on.

And, there will be a MANDATORY BOIL ORDER for a period of time after water returns.

We made attempts to reach the water company that were told services that area, but were not able to connect with anyone.
