One of the best things about living in Maine is the fact that we have outdoor activities in all four seasons.

Whether you're into catching something to eat, quietly enjoying the beauty of Maine, or tearing down the trail in a motorized vehicle, we have something for you all year long.

When it comes to winter, we have some of the best snowmobile trail systems and ski resorts this side of the Rocky Mountains.

But, what if you are looking for an activity that doesn't require special equipment or any real skills?  Something that the entire family, even the smaller kids, can do?

What you need to do is visit one of our great tubing parks.

Tubing Returns to Seacoast Adventure Park

Even though the state of Maine has a bunch of great spots to go tubing, the most recognizable spot south of Waterville is definitely Windham's Seacoast Adventure Park.

The park, which most of us have driven by at least a few times, does have a bunch of summertime attractions.  These include go-karts and mini-golf.

However, the park really comes alive during the winter.  With nearly a dozen lanes, the wait times at the park are minimal and the slope of the hill makes it perfect for people who love a thrill, but don't want to be terrified.  Plus, there is a magic carpet conveyor to get you to the top of the hill, so you are not trudging up the hill between runs.

And then there's the night tubing...

Night Tubing at This Maine Park is Like Being at a Club

Yes, other tubing parks offer night tubing, but none do it quite like Seacoast Adventure Park.

When you tube under the lights at Seacoast Adventure Park, it is like being at a nightclub!

The hill is illuminated by multi-color, club-style, LED lights.  What about music?  Well, there is a high energy soundtrack blasting from the speakers on the hill.

This video is from a few years ago, before they really leaned into the lighting and music, but it gives you an idea of what zooming down the hill at night is like.

The hours vary depending on the day and current conditions.  For the 2025/2026 season, tickets are $35 per person.  However, if you have a younger rider, you can purchase a combo pass for $50.  That combo pass is good for a child (40" to 47") and the adult that is accompanying them.
