All year, we have honored area teachers with the Bee Teacher of the Month award.  We received several nominations from so many of you.  Thank you to those who nominated their teachers.  We certainly wish there were more months in the year for us to recognize everybody.  All teachers deserve more than just a pat on the back for all of their hard work.

Our B98.5 Bee Teacher of the Year winner is:  Mrs. Sue Dodge from Hall-Dale Elementary School in Hallowell.  Mrs. Dodge has taught thousands of students in the 41 years she has been a teacher.  During the assembly to present her award, it was announced that Mrs. Dodge was retiring.  Seeing the reaction from the staff and all the students, we knew Mrs. Dodge was worthy of Teacher of the Year.  Congratulations Mrs. Dodge!

Mrs. Dodge won a beautiful trophy from Yankee Trophy of Benton, a gift certificate to the China Dine-ah & the grand prize, a check for $1000 for school supplies for her school courtesy of Connected Credit Union.

A special thank you to Yankee Trophy, the China Dine-ah & Connected Credit Union for helping us support and honor these teachers!
