Portland Bans Smoking E-Cigarettes In Public Places

Last week well told you that the Portland City Council was going to take up a measure to ban the use of electronic cigarettes in public places. Here's an update, the Portland City Council passed an ordinance to ban e-cigarettes with a 7 to 1 vote.

The same laws that apply to other tobacco products will apply to any type of electronic nicotine delivery systems, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers.

Portland's ban will take effect in 30 days and marks the 275th city or county to make an e-cigarette ban.
