Portland Is Considering Banning Plastic Straws

Get ready people, the world is about to be saved. Tonight the Portland city council will discuss a possible plastic straw ban. According to WGME they are hoping people will get a metal reusable straw that can be reused at restaurants. Apparently people in Portland are more than okay with their drinks having a metallic taste to them so who am I to judge? For for it. Go drink your drinks from your reusable straws you jolly old hipsters. I'm proud of you.

Just let me ask this: when are we getting rid of those rings around beer and soda cans? Cause i'm pretty sure those do way more damage than straws...
