Cony parents are very concerned about three recent bomb threats at the Augusta school. Tonight (June 11) they will get to hear from authorities about the situation.

In just 8 days, Cony has had three separate incidents, and some parents are concerned about how the situations and communication have been handled. Students were evacuated to the Augusta Civic Center during one incident, locked-in during another and released during the other.

Augusta Police Lt. Christopher Massey told centralmaine.com that, “Whether they’re serious threats or people are meaning them jokingly, we can’t differentiate between them.”

The public forum will be at 6:30 pm at the high school auditorium.
