Queen of England Says No to Selfies
The Queen of England has weighed in on selfies; she finds them disconcerting and strange. She believes that selfies take away from the value of human contact and thinks they are an example of bad manners. She was basically saying she misses eye contact.
The Queen is no stranger to cell phones, she has owned one since 2001, although she has never been seen using it in public. Her grandson, Prince Harry taught her how to text.
Queen Elizabeth has been in a selfie though. When she was touring the set of Game of Thrones a teenager was able to get a selfie of himself with the Queen as she passed by. It happened so fast witnesses said they don’t think the Queen even knew what happened. With all the commotions of people applauding as they were walking the market, a teenage boy named Jack approached her, said something and snapped the selfie.
