The busiest day of college football bowl games was yesterday. The one they call the Granddaddy of Them All is the Rose Bowl. It had Pac12 Champions Stanford Cardinal and Big 10 champions Michigan State Spartans.

Michigan State beat Stanford 24-20 and they did it, as they have all year, with their defense. On a 4th and 1, with 1:34 left, the ball on the Cardinal 34, the Spartans Defense stopped Stanford short to secure the win. Michigan State became the first team since 2000 to comeback from a halftime deficit to win the Rose Bowl.

Chick-fil-A Bowl was a thriller with Texas A&M coming from behind to win 52-48 over Duke. A&M linebacker Nate Askew intercepted a pass on the A&M 43 with 1:19 remaining to seal the win.
