Reminder: Daylight Savings Time Ends This Weekend
We fall back to standard time this Sunday morning at 2 a.m.. the good news is we get an extra hour of sleep, the bad news is that the sun sets at 4:30 p.m.
Standard time will be in effect through March 8, 2015, that's when clocks will spring forward an hour to start Daylight Savings Time.
Along with changing the clocks it is a good idea to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.
Something that I do as well is get my car ready for the cold weather. I keep windshield washer fluid in my trunk, a scraper and a bag of kitty litter in my car (it's handy for getting stuck in the snow).
Fun fact for you, 238 days of the year are in Daylight savings time and only 127 days are in standard time.
