Rick Santorum, Republican hopeful for the nomination for President, held a campaign event in Hamlin, Iowa at Darrell’s Place. Only four people showed up.

At first, Peggy Toft, the chair of the local Republican Party was the only person there when the event began. What to do, order food. He asked Toft to pick something from the menu and he chose the tenderloin and onion rings. When the food came out, the crowd swelled to four.

Unfortunately for Santorum there were more photographers and reports than voters. He took it all in stride saying one guy said he’ll talk to him at the caucus, and that may be ‘eight’ votes for him.
