Sarah Has Owned This Spray For 26 Years!

It's hard to believe it's been 26 years since 'Santa' left this Sweet Dreams room spray.  It's to help you get a good night sleep.  Somehow, I've managed to keep it all this time...and it's still half full.  

I was still living in Germany when I got it.  I had forgotten all about it and was surprised it survived the overseas move.  After unpacking it, I put it in my bathroom and would occasionally smell it.  The smell would trigger happy memories from Germany: where we lived, my old room, my friends.

When I moved out of my parents' house, I packed it with me...and it's just always ended up in my medicine cabinet.  Over the years, I seemed to look at it less and less...but always knew it was there.  Several years passed and I decided to smell it.  The smell turned from pleasant to an acetone type smell.  But after that strong odor dissipates, I can get a slight whiff of what it once was...and suddenly I'm 13 again.

It's been 26 years that this botanical spray, from Smith & Vandiver, has been in my possession.  I just can't bring myself to throw it out.  According to their website, they don't seem to make it anymore.
