Several Maine Gas Stations Selling Gas For Under $2 A Gallon

According to the price-monitoring website GasBuddy.com, gas prices in Maine were down four cents per gallon this week , for a statewide average of $2.13. However, several gas stations in Maine are reporting selling gas for under $2 per gallon.

Gas stations in Pittsfield and Bangor reported gas for as low as $1.92 per gallon! Gas stations in Brewer, Newport, Carmel and Scarborough has also reported gas for under $2 a gallon.

Nationally, the average for a gallon of gas was down two cents per gallon to $2.01.

Kansas, Oklahoma and South Carolina has the lowest average gas prices in the country, with an average of $1.77 per gallon.
