The Knox County Sheriff's Office has released a sketch of a woman believed to be connected to last week's home invasion on the Sennebec Road in Union.

A woman knocked on the door, just a little while before the home was robbed on Wednesday (Feb. 10) around 6:30 p.m. The woman, according to police, asked if an individual was inside before leaving.

A short time later, a man knocked on the door. He forced his way into the home, and assaulted a 22-year-old woman. Also, money and other items were stolen.

Police say there may be a connection to a series of car burglaries that same night in Appleton and Union.
