Snake Expert Dies of Snake Bites

Dierter Zorn from Germany is an expert on snakes and travels Europe making presentations to help people get over their fear of the reptiles. While in Southern France recently, things didn’t go very well for Zorn.

While performing his ‘Reptile Show’ the 53 year old was bitten by an Aspic viper several times and died of a heart attack shortly after.  His co-host said Zorn had an allergic reaction to the bites and the incident was extremely uncommon.

There was a large audience watching the show and witnessed Zorn getting bit but they didn’t see him die on stage. He died shortly after he was taken backstage.
